You have arrived at the web home of Noah Brier. This is mostly an archive of over a decade of blogging and other writing. You can read more about me or get in touch. If you want more recent writing of mine, most of that is at my BrXnd marketing x AI newsletter and Why Is This Interesting?, a daily email for the intellectually omnivorous.

Whizspark

I got an email from Peter Caputa tonight asking me if I minded talking a little bit about Whizspark. Normally I'm not much for the whole solicited plug thing, but this is different, after all, if you won't plug your friends who you gonna plug? Plus I just happen to have done a bit of copywriting work for Whizspark and think there description is quite nice (I wrote it . . . ):

You plan events. We make it easier. You promote events. We make it faster. Our online tools turn what can be an overwhelming process, into a streamlined affair. Whether you're planning a music festival, networking event, seminar or conference, WhizSpark's tools can help you tap the power of the web for all your e-invitation, marketing, registration, RSVP and communications needs.
We started the company to make event planning and marketing less complicated for ourselves. Now we want to simplify it for you. Your dream is to fill the house every time. Ours is to bring new technology to event planning to make that dream a reality. We're here to help. We're here to make it easier. We're here so you can focus on what is important: Fostering Interaction.

More importantly, though, is the fact that Pete gets it. He knows who he needs to talk to and he knows how to get there. He's trying to spread his message in whatever way possible to reach his target and I commend him for his effort.
