Tim Russert News Broken By Wikipedia?

All the Tim Russert coverage has been amazing, but I found this to be especially interesting: Apparently the first place with the story was Wikipedia. Makes me wonder if Wikipedia is becoming more efficient (in economic terms). One day maybe every piece of information will be on there the moment it happens (very Kurzweilian I know). Reminds me of this research on the speed that British football betters take in information.
