You have arrived at the web home of Noah Brier. This is mostly an archive of over a decade of blogging and other writing. You can read more about me or get in touch. If you want more recent writing of mine, most of that is at my BrXnd marketing x AI newsletter and Why Is This Interesting?, a daily email for the intellectually omnivorous.

Dynamically Generated NFTs for Variance Users

The NFT color combinations denote rarity and we will drop more with each new software release.

An email we sent to our users

To our extended Team Variance -

With our upcoming release, we want to thank you for all of your support and help in getting both Milestones and Account Views live. It is now on staging and coming soon, we promise!

In the most Web3 way possible we want to show our gratitude by offering you a Variance original NFT. Moving forward, each release from Variance comes with a new set of dynamically generated NFTs. The color combinations denote rarity. From least to most rare:

  • Gold on Blue
  • Gold on White
  • White on Gold
  • White on Blue
  • Blue on White
  • Blue on Gold

In addition, the lower the release number, the rarer, as each release will include a larger mint run.

Least Rare (example):

Gold on Blue

Most Rare (example):

Blue on Gold

If you are interested in getting one of these NFTs, you will need to have a Solana Wallet and you will send us your address. (If you don’t yet have one, just use the Phantom Wallet Chrome extension, which is way simpler than the other wallets out there.)

Send us your Solana address in this simple form here. (redacted for blog post)

Where is this all going you might ask? Well, we aren’t totally sure but we tried to write some thoughts around this on our blog, with the ultimate intention of a) trying to show how much we care about our users and how much we believe you are a key part of our success and b) having fun with some new technologies.

We look forward to hearing from you, and hopefully dropping you a Variance NFT. Thank you again for helping us build Variance.

Best,

James and Noah
